Winner: Giveaway #1

Well, I just used a random number generator (at http://www.random.org/) and got the winner for Luci Shaw's Breath for the Bones. The number I received was 3, so I skipped back to my blog with bated breath (ha--did you catch the pun?) and found that Lauren was the third person who posted and therefore the winner! Lauren, you emailed me your snail mail address a few days ago, so I'll drop the book in the mail this afternoon or tomorrow. You're gonna love it. ;)

As for the rest of you, don't give up! Like I promised, I've got more giveaways coming up. And for those of you who read my blog for the personal posts and yawn when I start talking book, I'll get back to more fun things in coming posts. I've got photos of my writing space, a hilarious conversation with my five-year-old, and reflections on life, liberty, and the pursuit of trailer living. Huh? It'll make sense later...

  1. Congrats Lauren! Giveaways are so much fun!

  2. I'm coming out with a book, so I appreciate your comments and experience on this. I think I told you I finished ATLF, didn't I.

I have an advertising blurb on my blog for the release of the book. If you have a minute please check it out and leave a comment about how you would change it (if you would).

I'm submitting it later tonight, so if you don't get a look that's ok.

  3. Thanks! This is awesome. I've never won a giveaway before. :) I'm excited about the book. Thanks Nicole!

  4. Your book sounds great, Warren. :) Who's publishing it? When will it be out? Where can I get it?

I've never won a giveaway either, Lauren. Is it fun? ;) My mom is the lucky one in our family... She's picked a diamond out of a bowl of glass chips, constantly wins concert tickets and free passes to cool places, and when I was sixteen she stuck the winning key into the ignition of a brand-new pick-up. Guess how I learned to drive a standard?

  5. Ha! That's funny. I'd love to stick a winning key into a new car! And, yes, winning a giveaway is very fun. :) Thanks for the opportunity. :D
