Guest Blog & Giveaway

Dar at Peeking Between the Pages has just posted a review and guest blog pertaining to The Moment Between. Her review is incredibly well-written and thorough--I really enjoyed reading her reactions to the book. And I wrote the guest blog a week or so ago. It's all about wine and how it ties into the book. Head on over and browse around Dar's fabulous site. Don't forget to leave a comment on the guest blog! Dar and Tyndale are giving away two free copies of The Moment Between. Free books seem to abound these days. :)

  1. i love all these chances to win your book! here's to hoping i'll win one! i'm so frustrated, since I got TMB on my ipod kindle, I've only gotten to chapter three in the past two days - it seems life suddenly sped up! anyway. can i say that i truly cannot make myself enjoy wine? i try and try, but i just don't like it! I've tried "sweet red", the Gewurztraminer wine that is supposed to be sweet, and several different Rieslings, which is the only kind I can even drink a full glass and not make a sour face. its very frustrating! i want to like it, but i just cant. i use it for cooking. thats the only way i like it. que sera.

  2. Oh, I can relate--to the life speeding up thing. I've been reading Elizabeth Strout's "Abide With Me" for ages now... I love the book, but I can't seem to find the time to finish it. I'm half tempted to set it aside until I can devote some serious attention to it.

You don't have to love wine! One of my best friends hates the stuff. I'm just talking about it because it plays into TMB and it's much more fun to talk about than suicide. ;)

  3. lol! well, i try to like it because it is one of those "grown-up" things that "sophisticated" adults like. People offer wine at dinner, its so frustrating to say no thanks! and i have borderline high blood pressure, so a glass of red wine every evening is supposed to help with that, but i can't do that either! its like coffee - which i had to teach myself to like - an adult drink i want to enjoy because its a social thing. i dont know, i'm a new adult (only 23) so maybe in a few years i'll like wine.

  4. Thanks so much Nicole. Really I feel I should thank you for such a great book. Every once in a while you run across a book that really does emotionally affect you and I felt that with yours. You're a very gifted writer and I'll be reading your other two soon. Best wishes and good luck in the future! By the way I'll be back-you have a wonderful blog here!
