Ongerijpt
So I had to share the awesome cover of the Dutch translation of The Moment Between. Isn't it beautiful? Haunting somehow. I just love it. And I love the translated title... I had a hard time tracking down the meaning of Ongerijpt, but I finally managed it. The Dutch title? Unripened. Cool, eh? If you've read The Moment Between, you know Unripened is extremely fitting. And if you haven't read it, what are you waiting for? It's only a click away... Come on, you know you want to. Save a struggling artist and all that jazz. ;)
BTW, stay tuned for a very exciting announcement this weekend!!! I'm dying to share, but must drag out the suspense a smidge longer. See you then!

Many hugs on the start of this new week,

Hi Nicole
ReplyDeleteI have just read Ongerijpt. And it was great!!! Fantastic book.
You write very good! Please go on ;)
Wow, that looks amazing! And yes, haunting in a way, but a good way. :) I like the "Unripened" title. It illuminates the haunting aspect of the story with help of the fantastic picture they used. I don't think I could pick a favorite between US and Dutch. They're both good. I don't know...I actually might have to go with the U.S. version, but the Dutch cover with the Dutch title is still really good. Congratulations on it. That's neat going foreign. :)
ReplyDeleteBina-
ReplyDeleteA featured new title? That's exciting! I don't know if you can make suggestions or not, but I love talking with book clubs about my books... It would be fun to "meet" you via Skype!
Jolanda-
I'm so glad you liked Ongerijpt. I'm hoping that there is a trip to the Netherlands sometime in my future... I still have family in Rotterdam, Friesland, and near Amsterdam. I'd love to visit!
Lauren-
Thanks! I think it looks pretty amazing, too. Gotta admire those artists. ;)
