I tend to be a little (okay, a lot) dramatic, but I am wildly in love with Missy Higgins new CD, On a Clear Night. Thanks to i-Tunes Genius, this Australian singer/songwriter is a new, and very welcome addition to my playlist. The album is mostly acoustic with a folksy, blues-like feel, and Missy's smoky vocals are stunning. She reminds me in some ways of Ingrid Michaelson or maybe Colbie Caillat, though she's a bit more off the beaten path than Colbie's popular, mainstream tunes.Anyway, just thought I'd share. I love being introduced to a new artist--thought you might, too.
