...are "just because." It's not my anniversary or birthday (well, it will be in a few days, but that's beside the point), I'm not sick, sad, or suffering in any way. I got these from my hubby "just because." Aren't they lovely?

they are lovely! I made the mistake early in dating my husband of telling him I didn't like flowers because they seemed so obligatory (when i meant i didn't like flowers on valentines, birthdays, anniversary, etc). he didn't pick up on the fact that i like flowers "just because", and i've told him a couple times, but i think he is so used to NOT buying me flowers that he just never thinks about it! sad, b/c i love "just because" flowers, but i can't complain too loudly because he does all sorts of "just because" stuff for me!
ReplyDeleteOh, I know what you mean. Aaron's great at many "just because" things, but it seems like there is always something I wish he'd do that he doesn't. Sadly, I'm sure he feels the same way about me. We keep plugging away and learning, I guess. :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you!
They are beautiful and how thoughtful (do you still hate red roses?) It is easy to think of things a hubby doesn't do that we wish he would. I've learned to be thankful for the little and big things he does and accept him for that. I think I've got little and big things he wishes I'd do too. But, we've learned to complement and compliment each other and that goes a long way. I wouldn't trade hubbies with any of my friends, mine is the perfect fit :)
ReplyDeleteThose are lovely flowers!! Your hubby really loves you.
