I, too, sent my son to kindergarden today. When I asked him how it was he said, "well, mom, it was kinda freaky"...but he loved lunch and recess so I think he's gonna do ok. bless you, Nicole!Nikolynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06337932705367584572noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7015084040259761401.post-67236308531392683612009-08-26T20:24:43.906-05:002009-08-26T20:24:43.906-05:00Oh, Nicole - I can imagine how you are feeling. It feels like yesterday when I was feeling him roll around inside my belly. I don't even want to think about kindergarten. It does...life happens so fast. So darn fast. I hope his first year of school is a fabulous one. I hope he loves his teacher and has a great year! I love those pictures - your're right about that last one!Katie Gansherthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09150375338556869812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7015084040259761401.post-5100028739163273452009-08-26T13:11:41.247-05:002009-08-26T13:11:41.247-05:00Thanks for the well wishes. But I'm doing better already...

Sherry, my coffee was definitely bitter this morning.

I'm glad you stopped by Kristen! The photos I posted are not necessarily my favorite, but I'm a stinker about showing my kids online. I probably don't have to be so protective, but I think my kids are cute enough to steal--I'm afraid someone else might agree.

Blessings right back at you, Wendy! I barely took three steps with her into her classroom before she said, "Okay Mom, see ya later. I've got it from here," and ushered me out the door. My mid-morning coffee was a bit bitter after a couple of good cries. Seems like my little girl is always a step ahead of me when it comes to being prepared for each new journey.

I hope this school year brings you the opportunity to delve into the excitement of new beginnings with your son. May the two of you together enjoy field trips, new friends, fresh independence and the thrill of learning. I hope that today you find the quiet comfort of memories.

Many blessings to you and your family!Sherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11978423910080306435noreply@blogger.com
